Create an account

Getting started on Context takes less than a minute. Here’s how to create your account and get ready to trade.

Sign up

1. Go to context.markets
2. Click Sign up in the top right
3. Choose how you want to sign in:
   • Google - Use your Google account
   • X (Twitter) - Use your X account
   • Email - Enter your email for a magic link

That’s it - your account is created automatically.

Your wallet

When you sign up, Context creates a smart wallet for you automatically. This wallet:

• Lives onchain on Base
• Holds your USDC and outcome tokens
• Signs your trades
• Is fully controlled by you

You don’t need to install MetaMask or any other wallet extension. Everything works right in your browser.

Add funds

To trade, you’ll need USDC in your Context wallet. There are two ways to add funds:

Option 1: Card deposit

1. Click your balance in the top right
2. Select Deposit
3. Enter the amount you want to deposit
4. Complete the card payment

Card deposits are processed by our payment partner and typically arrive within minutes. Minimum deposit is $5.

Option 2: Crypto transfer

1. Click your balance in the top right
2. Select Deposit
3. Copy your wallet address
4. Send USDC on Base to this address

Make sure you’re sending USDC on the Base network. USDC sent on other networks (Ethereum mainnet, Arbitrum, etc.) will not appear in your Context balance.

Geographic availability

Context is available in most countries with some restrictions:

• Card deposits: May be restricted in some regions
• US users: Context is not currently available in the United States

Set up your profile

Once you’re signed in, you can customize your profile:

1. Click your avatar in the top right
2. Select Profile
3. Edit your:
   • Username - How others see you (can be changed once every 48 hours)
   • Avatar - Upload a profile picture
   • Bio - Tell others about yourself
