How markets resolve
When a market reaches its end time, our AI-powered Oracle determines the outcome. Here’s what happens and how you collect your winnings.Resolution flow
1. End time arrives
When the market’s end time passes, the Oracle automatically kicks in. Trading continues until the resolution is finalized.2. AI verification
The Oracle checks the data sources specified in the market’s resolution criteria. For example, a crypto price market might check CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, and Binance. A sports market might check ESPN and official league results. The Oracle:- Pulls data from each source
- Cross-references sources for consistency
- Matches the facts against the resolution criteria
- Runs the decision multiple times to ensure consistency
- Documents its reasoning and sources
3. Timelock
The proposed resolution enters a timelock period before it becomes final. During this window:- The proposed outcome is publicly visible
- Anyone can review the reasoning
- Disputes can be raised if something looks wrong
4. Finalization
After the timelock, the resolution is recorded onchain. Winning tokens become redeemable for $1 each. Losing tokens become worthless.Claiming your winnings
- Go to your Portfolio
- Find markets showing “Claimable”
- Click Claim
- Sign the transaction
- USDC is added to your balance
Losing positions
Losing tokens are worth $0 and don’t need any action from you. They’ll show as resolved losses in your portfolio.Early resolution
Some markets can resolve before their end time. If a market asks “Will X happen before December?” and X happens in July, the Oracle can detect this and propose an early resolution, which still goes through the normal timelock.Voided markets
In rare cases (event cancelled, criteria error), a market may be voided. When this happens, all participants get their collateral returned.Disputes
If you believe a resolution is incorrect:- Gather evidence (links, screenshots) showing the correct outcome
- Contact support on Discord during the timelock period
- The team reviews and can correct the resolution if needed
